Utah Valley head coach Todd Phillips dipped into the local talent pool again, this time signing Wasatch Academy forward Osiris Grady. Grady chose UVU over USC, Texas Tech, West Virginia and several other high-major programs. He was rated a three-star recruit by 247 Sports. Grady's commitment is another recruiting victory for Phillips. The first-year UVU head coach already brought in two local transfers: Utah State transfer Trevin Dorius, from Heber City, agreed to come to the mid-major school; Southern Utah guard Drake Allen, from Eagle Mountain, also will join Phillips in 2023.
